This project is an album cover design celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the release of John Mayer’s album Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles. The concept of the design surrounds the idea of light and shadow. The cover is a photo taken of the shadow cast by the type from the original cover design printed on transparent paper. The concept continues through the translucent sleeve, the featured lyrics, and the chosen photo.
